Event Spotlight: A Garden Tea at the Dallas Arboretum

Set within the gardens of the Dallas Arboretum, Proof of the Pudding welcomed industry planners and partners to an elegant Planner’s VIP Spring Tea at A Tasteful Place. The afternoon unfolded as a refined and intimate start to the Art of the Garden Party festivities.

Guests were greeted with beautifully styled tiered tea displays, each thoughtfully curated to reflect the fresh, seasonal spirit of spring. The menu balanced delicate flavors and artful presentation, creating a sophisticated yet inviting experience.

Savory selections included mini herb chèvre tartlets with spring pea purée and lemon zest, lavender honey chicken salad tea sandwiches adorned with edible flowers, and smoked salmon mousse with cucumber ribbon and brioche crisp. A standout favorite, the truffle deviled egg, added a rich and elevated touch to the classic tea service.

Sweet offerings completed the experience with equal elegance, featuring dark chocolate bonbons with passionfruit center and gold dust, vanilla bean custard tarts with raspberry glaze, and freshly baked scones served with marmalade and clotted cream.

Paired with a light roasted high mountain oolong tea, each bite and sip was designed to complement the garden setting and create a moment of pause before the evening’s larger celebration.

The Planner’s VIP Spring Tea was more than a prelude to the evening’s events. It was a celebration of thoughtful hospitality, seasonal flavors, and the meaningful connections that bring exceptional events to life, setting the stage for the evening’s Art of the Garden Party reception.
