Giving back has always been at the heart of Proof of the Pudding’s mission. For over 40 years, they have demonstrated a commitment to service, pouring resources, time, and compassion into causes near and dear to their community. This fall has been no different, as Proof continued their tradition of generosity through a series of meaningful events, touching lives and creating lasting memories. Here’s a look at some recent ways the Proof team has shared their spirit of giving.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home Halloween Luncheon

Proof of the Pudding hosted a Halloween lunch for the residents, staff, and sisters at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home, a hospice for terminally ill cancer patients run by the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne. The sisters eagerly anticipate this annual event, where everyone gets into the Halloween spirit by dressing up. Many POPstars stayed to share conversations and make connections, finding joy in the simple yet profound moments spent with patients and caregivers.

CURE Childhood Cancer Charity Dinner

Proof supported CURE Childhood Cancer by organizing a dinner at 1175, offering a memorable evening in honor of families affected by pediatric cancer. The gathering underscored the incredible strength of these young patients and their families, highlighting the impact of community support.

SOC-F Veterans Day Dinner

In honor of Veterans Day, Proof hosted a seven-course progressive dinner for SOC-F, an organization dedicated to supporting special operations forces and their families. Starting with cocktails in the main lobby and moving through different rooms for each course, the dinner concluded with a dessert reception in the showroom.

National Adoption Awareness Month Celebration with CCAI

To celebrate National Adoption Awareness Month, Proof welcomed a group of young adoptees and their families to 1175 for a day of food and learning, all in support of Cherish Children Adoption International (CCAI). The kids enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour, meeting Proof team members who explained their roles, followed by a hands-on pizza-making session led by Dustin. The joy and excitement on the children’s faces made this day extra special for everyone involved.

The Giving Kitchen Private Dinner

Proof catered a dinner in a private residence, supporting The Giving Kitchen, a non-profit that offers emergency assistance to food service workers. This was a particularly meaningful event for the Proof team, as some of their own employees have received aid from The Giving Kitchen during challenging times.

At Proof of the Pudding, giving back is more than a mission; it’s a responsibility. Every event, every meal shared, and every story told strengthens their dedication to serving and supporting their community.
