POP:  Good morning Diann! Thanks for taking a little time to chat wit us. Let’s start with, what is the one piece of advice you would share with others at the beginning of their hospitality/catering career?
DIANN: The one piece of advice I would share with others at the beginning of their career is learn something every day.

POP: What values would you say have shaped your life?
DIANN:  The values that have shaped my life is courage, kindness, Integrity, forgiveness and respect.

POP:  How would you describe YOU?
DIANN:  I am loyal, determined and walk in integrity. I thrive on challenge and constantly set goals for myself, so I have something to strive toward. I’m not comfortable with settling, and I’m always looking for an opportunity to do better and achieve greatness.

POP:  Who in your life has influenced you the most?
DIANN:  The most influential person in my life is my Mom. She is consistently positive and determined to help everyone around her. She has inspired me to set goals for myself and work hard to reach them. Now that we’re living together again, I’m so grateful that I have her here because I couldn’t have gotten through any stage of my life without her. My relationship with Mom remains to be the most precious and cherished gift life has ever given me, and reminds me daily that the power of strong female relationships can get you through anything.

POP:  What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
DIANN“What you’re supposed to do when you don’t like a thing is change it. If you can’t change it, change the way you think about it. Don’t complain.”  ― Maya Angelou

POP: What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
DIANN:  I played college basketball.
