POP:  Thanks for the chat today Chef! Share with us, what is the one piece of advice you would share with others at the beginning of their hospitality/catering career?
BRIAN: You have to give your all to this job and be very dedicated if you want to succeed. Also find a partner in life that doesn’t mind if you have to work weekends!

POP: What values would you say have shaped your life?
BRIAN: The values that have shaped my life are friendships, curiosity, happiness, loyalty, love and stability.

POP:  What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
BRIAN: My mother’s sausage and peppers. I always got very excited when she told me we were having that for dinner.

POP:  Who in your life has influenced you the most?
BRIAN: Both sets of grandparents were big influences in my life. They taught me a lot of values that I still hold on to today.

POP:  What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
BRIAN: It’s from The Beatles’ All you Need is Love:
“There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done / Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung / Nothing you can say, but you can learn how to play the game / It’s easy / All you need is love”

POP: What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
BRIAN: I have made TWO hole in ones playing golf!
